Dr. Estella Edwards Shabazz is the Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of E.E. Edwards Engineering. In this key leadership role, she provides overall management and strategic direction for the corporation. She has been a leading professional in the industry for more than 40 years and is a licensed general contractor.

Dr. Shabazz has an extensive track record in both the public and private sectors throughout the United States. Her career highlights include serving in strategic positions with the City of Savannah as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager, as an Engineer for the Chatham County Public Works Department, and with the South Carolina Department of Highways and Public Transportation.

Dr. Shabazz has served as Vice Mayor for the past six years and has completed four consecutive terms on the Savannah City Council representing District 5. She has also been appointed to the Coastal Regional Metropolitan Planning Committee, the Georgia Municipal Black Caucus, and the National League of Cities Women in Municipal Government.
